David Nissen,

David is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant with over 37 years in the behavioral healthcare space, including executive leadership roles and successful entrepreneurial ventures. Having held Chief Executive Officer positions at three different psychiatric hospitals, David co-founded Pasadena Villa, a private pay psychiatric residential treatment facility. David led Pasadena Villa to become a nationally recognized leader in the space with operations in two states, and had personal responsibility for: marketing and business development, intake and admissions, finance and business office, Human Resources, compliance and regulatory affairs, and strategic planning. David successfully sold the business to private equity firm Nautic Partners in 2015. Since then, David has been instrumental in helping behavioral healthcare organizations, including healthcare consulting firms, increase enterprise value, improve operations, and make a more meaningful impact through consulting, advising, and coaching.

In the behavioral healthcare consulting space, David has experience in operational and turnaround consultation, mergers and acquisitions with an emphasis on sell-side diligence and advisory, strategic planning and business development, leadership development and organizational performance. His consulting experience includes mental health and substance use disorder facilities nationwide
